About Us

The Tales of the Tribunal Podcast

Familiarity is the first step to building a community.

 Our Goals and Vision

Our goals are simple:

1. Create a window into the lives and journeys of those “doing it” in international dispute resolution;

So that….

2. Newcomers feel welcome and confident that they can create or carve their own path;

And…

3. To remove and/or mitigate the cost of access to entry for those that want to enter the field but cannot because of the cost to do so.

Who Am I

2..4…6…0–Alright, that’s a Broadway joke-

I am just a guy.

A guy that sees untapped opportunity to make international dispute resolution more inclusive and connected.

However, accomplishing this feat requires intentional and consistent action, it is my hope that this podcast, along with the events we collaborate with changes the conversation to one of dynamic action instead of reserved exclusion-whether that be by the privileges of fortune, happenstance, or otherwise.

Our Story

We showed up at the 2019 Vis Moot with a Microphone and recording equipment–inspired by all the interesting stories and backgrounds from attending numerous conferences–and some convinced people to give us an interview.

Then we didn’t get cancelled half-way through Season 1…and now some 30+ episodes later we are growing in audience and capability, we even got our own website.

We hope you’ll join our community and add your own experience to our story.

About Tales of the Tribunal

Tales of the Tribunal (#ToT) is an initiative of bringing the world of dispute resolution together by de-mystifying the international dispute resolution community.  We accomplish this by encouraging conversations, hosting events with community actors and, most importantly, having conversations with figures from across the industry and all over the world.  The show consists of two series:

Tales of the Tribunal: Candid conversations about the background, adventures, projects and interests of figures around the international dispute resolution space.  During a season, episodes are released on Thursdays.

Disputes Digest: Weekly summaries (every Wednesday) of the News, Opportunities and Events/Webinars in Inter
